What to Wear for Easter

cannot believe Easter is only two weeks away! Time has been flying and this Lenten season has honestly felt so short… or is that just me?! I’m definitely not someone to plan outfits far in advance, but for holidays I love to come up with a few ideas. That way, my mom and I can make sure we’re coordinating for the many photos we will take! Today I’m sharing an idea of what to wear for Easter. I love this look because it’s easy to recreate + will look great with whatever your family decides to wear.

When I think of Easter dresses, I always think of sweet pastels and florals. So while this outfit idea is definitely not groundbreaking, I love that it’s a dress that you can wear throughout seasons. The color is a deeper pink that is perfect to transition all year. Also, because it’s a solid color instead of a floral pattern, you can be sure it’ll go well with whatever pattern your family may wear. Of course this isn’t a big concern, but it’s something I always like to keep in mind! Easter is one of the only times that I may be able to get a photo with my brothers, so I want to make sure it looks good!

My family’s Easter traditions are always casual, but each year I’m excited to celebrate with them. I come home from Auburn for the weekend to hang out with them which is always so nice and relaxing. On Sunday, we go to 7AM Mass (just a little early, right?!) but I love it. After Mass, we always grab an early lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. Of course, that’s when I’ll try to get a picture with my brothers… that is never a guarantee though!

What are your Easter plans? I’d love to know in the comments!

P.S. I’m linking some of the sweetest solid pink dresses below. Mine is sold out, but I bought it at francesca’s – my favorite place to shop for holidays!

  1. Love this dress Cecilia and it is SO perfect for Easter! Unfortunately, I’m headed home to snowy Boston for the holiday so I’ll probably need to layer up like crazy – Definitely wishing I could be down south!
