introducing… iced coffee chats (!!!)

More times than not, you can catch me at a coffee shop with friends. Something about my go-to order (iced vanilla coffee with milk, please and thank you) makes me feel so productive and immediately makes me think of happier times (aka summer). I absolutely love getting coffee and chatting with my friends about anything and everything… so today I thought I’d start a new series with those moments in mind!

introducing… iced coffee chats (!!!)

There are so many things I’m excited to talk about… my favorite magazines (and trust me, I have quite a few), the podcasts I’ve been loving, even the music I’m obsessed with. When I love something, I talk about it… a lot. What better place to share my current obsessions? So, I hope you grab your favorite drink, find a cozy seat in a coffee shop, and sit and chat with me!

For this first coffee chat, I thought I would share my three (insanely easy) tips for feeling more put-together. These are little tips that I follow almost every day, and they make me feel so much more polished even when I only have five minutes to get ready.

1.) bold brows are an absolute favorite of mine. I have naturally dark, thick eyebrows, so I really could go without filling them in, but whenever I do take the time to add a little gel I feel 1000% nicer. My makeup look most days is sweeping on a little foundation & powder to cover up imperfections, and then filling in my brows. Even if I have no other eye makeup on, I think the bold brows help frame my face.

2.) mini buns are one of my new obsessions & I have worn my hair in one at least 4 days in the past week. I just brush my hair back, tie into a little bun & pin it down with a few bobby pins – so easy & so cute. These are the perfect way to “do” your hair, especially when it’s looking a little worse for wear or you just want to keep it out of your face. I have always been a fan of half-up hairstyles, and this is an updated version that is so chic.

3.) freshly painted nails are the last way that make me feel like I really have my life together (even if I’m on my second cup of coffee & third day of just wearing a t-shirt and leggings… #college) I shared my five favorite nail polish colors for winter on the blog a little while ago, and not much has changed. Painting my nails is such a relaxing routine for me that may or may not involve putting on a face mask and watching Netflix, and for the next few days every time I look down at my nails, I just feel so put-together.

so, because this is a chat, I want to hear from you!

question: what little secrets do you have for feeling more put-together & chic? please share below or on instagram & help a sister out!

xoxo, Cecilia
